Missing Child Alerts App

Did you know..

  • Roughly 800,000 children are reported missing every year!
  • More than 258,000 children are abducted yearly!
  • A child goes missing in the U.S. every 40 seconds!

These statistics are startling! And while we can’t prevent every abduction from happening, we CAN do something about it when the unfortunate event occurs.

The Missing Child Alerts mobile app for iPhone and Android devices helps notify and rapidly spread the word through social media when a child goes missing.

  1. Download and install the app from the Apple store or Android store (Google Play), depending on which device you have.
  2. Open the app and choose your state.
  3. Click “Proceed”
  4. That’s it! You will now automatically receive notifications when a child goes missing in your state. If you ever need to change states then simply click the “settings” tab and choose your new state.

Feel free to browse the listings of missing children and share them on Facebook, as well. You can even click the donate tab to make a quick donation to the National Center For Missing & Exploited Children right from the app!

**Important: Missing children will only be added to the app when a child is added to the National Center For Missing & Exploited Children database.

Download the app now and help these children come home!
